The unique concept of X 2000 is based on one of the most successful C64 parties ever, the one behind X'98. The idea is not to "Quake around for a whole weekend", but to relax and have a beer with fellow friends and sceners. This party is thus C64 ONLY!
Meet people from all over the world, new sceners and old legends. This is the moment for the true C64-scener to bring up old memories, talk about current events and have a laugh! And while doing so you can drink as much beer as you want and perhaps smoke a good joint. By the time you are totally wasted and feel like crashing, a nice bed will be waiting for you, and a warm shower and coffee when you wake up again. Is this heaven? No, it is X 2000.
To put it shortly, everything will be present to provide you with a real C64 party!
X 2000 will take place from the 17th till the 19th of November 2000 in Hengelo (Gld.)/The Netherlands. The doors will open at 19:00 on Friday and close at 12:00 on Sunday.
X 2000 will be a non-commercial event (we have room for 132 visitors), thus the entrance fee will be higher then normal: fl.125, - (+/- $60 US, only Dutch currency will be accepted). Since space is limited we recommend you to make your reservations NOW! X'98 was totally sold out!
You may think that the entrance fee is expensive, but it's not. You will get beverages (beer, soft drinks, and coffee), food, a bed and shower for free!
